jennrenee- my mil dog goes in the crate all the time
it is spite
try going to a class
if angel keeps peeing when I am not around
I have to take her to classes craig said
we can go together! lol

we took xena to puppy kindergarten
it was fun but didnt do much for her
she can still be dumb!! but she is house trained
the little ones always cause problems

we feed Jake in his crate and when he is done take his bowl out. The breeder said that is the best wat to avoid him going in the crate. She said they won't go where they eat. I guess that's where the saying 'don't sh** wher you eat' came from!!

OMG....this totaly slipped my mind, i have the everything dog book at home.. after dinner (going to chilis!! YAY) ill check it out for you!! but i also did the dining in the crate, but dont give to much water at once cause at first they get mad and bounce around and get soaked!!

I thought I just had to put his food bowl in there, and when he was hungry he'd go in and eat, and learn to associate the crate with eating and not... the other thing!

Guess who was in the crate today from 8-5 and had to take a bath when his mom got home???

8-5 might be too long unless it is spite
but who knows
my moms poodle stayed out all day for over 15 years and never went in the house
but I also think she was scared of my mom!

LOL Arnold isn't scared of anything except the thought of going in the dreaded crate!

I almost forgot... he sleeps in my bed at night for 9 hours at a stretch without an accident, so I KNOW this was spite!

JENNRENEE--- you have to jazz up his crate a bit...
see, my lil one didnt like her crate at first
she used to bark loud and made cooing noises like an owl! lol she sould sound

but now she loves it!! It is a small crate, so I lined it w/ a KING size pillow which takes up the whole crate and then some b/c it goes up in the back a bit, then she has a litle square doggie pillow from a bed I got her from fosters smith but she cant have that bed yet b/c craig doesnt let me let her sleep outta her crate yet and she has some toys in there! she loves it!! goes in sometimes w/ the door open and she wont pee in there b/c she thinks its her own coach!! give arnie a pillow and toys
my fifi(the poodle) used to love to lay on top of pillows!! but she of course hogged the bed

I couldnt find anything your not already doing in the books that I have.. What i will suggest, neither of my dogs liked the crate at all , but i bought these toys called KONGS and they are made with this tough rubber and they have a hole in the bottom.. i stick hotdogs in the holes and i really JAM them in there so its tough to get out.. I also sometimes fill the holes with peanut butter and theb stick it in the freezer (it takes them longer when the peanut butter is frozen) and I ONLY give them this when they go in the crate, so now everytime i grab the kongs they RUN in there crates tails waggin!!! im sorry i cant be more help..
