Any last words of wisdom?

Isn't that a good thing? Why doesn't everyone appreciate me being outspoken and giving advice about what they might not have been aware of?

Having been down this path before and now taking the plunge again(should I have my head examined ..kidding), here are a few words of advice..Make sure you find a few hours just for you either the day before or the day of if you can...take a walk on the beach or in a park..get a massage..read a book..cry(it helps ease tension)..and don't worry about anything if you can help it...Have a great time and enjoy it all.

I know what your feeling, mine is only a week after yours!

I also have been married before. I just wanted to tell you to absorb every second of your wedding day. It goes by so very fast. I am sure you will look beautiful and feel like a princess!

Your resonse to the photographers and DJ's eating sounds quite horrible. I for one have a fmaily of blue collar workers and love when people are nice to them and treat them as if they are people instead of servants.

My fiance and I are paying for the wedding ourselves and have saved every penny we could for 2 years. I am not saying to pay for things flippantly. We are in the process of paying everyone their final payments this week and it is a little stressful. However, all of this is not the vendors faults. How could you have anyone (working or not working) in front of you during your wedding and not offer them a meal.

Great minds think alike! My wedding is on Saturday too. Are you in total shock or what??? The last minute details are killing me, but I have to admit this is a great time in my life and "no" one or "no" thing can take that away from me. My shower seemed like a flash of light passing before me, so I can only imagine how quickly this is going to blow by. Have a great time and don't stress the small stuff because no one is going to take notice of the details if they don't come off on cue or as expected. I'm planning on watching something really depressing Thurs. night that way I can release some of the anxiety and emotions beforehand. I know I'm going to be a big cry baby that day, so I want to try to minimize the tears! Best of luck and I'll hope (for both of us) good weather!

Now I have their vanilla ones on my coffee table. Makes Paul think of chocolate cake & vanilla icing...so much so that he went out and bought the mix for me to make! LOL! :-)

Also, there are people on here stating that they can pick at cocktail foods, etc. That's fine with me as well, but to expect a sit down dinner at the same price is a little balsy. My Maitre' De will not be eating, my DJ will probably eat behind his booth, my waiters and waitresses will not sit down to eat. At my sister's wedding the photographer and videographer grabbed their plates and hung out in the corner and ate at cocktail hour. NO problems, no questions, no argument, etc.

Acolytes(sp?) $25 each, I had 2 Deacon $50 Pastor $100 Alter Guild $35 Sexton $25.00 the organist would have received $50 had she done the job with any interest
