Both my mother and I had a stomach virus starting on Christmas night, lasting until yesterday. She was worse off than me...but still not fun nonetheless.

I'm sorry to hear your first Married Christmas wasn't so great.

If it makes you feel any better - DH forgot all about Chanukah for the first year we were married.

Yes, he's Jewish. Yes, I had been reminding him that Chanukah was coming up for weeks. Yes, he made up for it this year.
