I heard that actually serve Asian food at the Shereton Hotel in Queens, Flushing. I'm having my Wedding at the Crescent Beach Club, they offered Asian stations like Chinese/ Sushi during the cocktail hr. So you might want to look into that!.

if you go for a place that isn't necessarily wedding related, it won't be that expensive and you can have food catered and the cost won't matter as much. i'm looking at a loft in the city for 3000 including chairs, tables, tableclothes, an extra room for the bride, and a roof deck. not bad and i have money for food left over.

maybe there's a smaller resturant on the island that has authentic food? it'd proably be cheaper and if there's not enough room for the reception there, you can prob ge the food for cheap. check the phone book, it can't hurt.
