We already had our tasting! We booked contingent on having a tasting and liking it. It was AWESOME. I'm not a huge red meat person, but the filet mignon/chateau briand was DELICIOUS. Seriously. Even normal cocktail hour food that I usually pass up was really good.

I guess this means we won't have a tasting as we get closer to the wedding date When we go finalize our menu, I do think I'd like to make some changes to include (either in the cocktail hour or in the dinner menu) a latin dish since the majority of my guests are latinos. They said they would accomodate menu changes and would even accept recipes if they were not too complicated, so I hope this isn't a problem.

Re: Need pics of Chateau Briand

Right, the only room that got the new chivari (sp?) chairs is Saturnia. They are gold backs with off white seats.

The linens they use are an off white damask type (like someone mentioned above).

Normandy and the other room still have the blue chairs. Unless you had them thrown in when you did your contract, you'd have to rent out chair covers.

The chair covers I've seen are also off white damask (from Chateau Briand).

We're in Saturnia and I always thought I wanted chair covers FOR SURE, but I really like how the room looks with the chivari chairs so we didn't include covers.

Re: Need pics of Chateau Briand

This is what their website says:

Leonardo Da Vinci: 600 guests
Normandy: 400 guests
Saturnia: 300 guests
Promenade: 156 guests
Europa: 150 guests
Monet Studio: 60 guests
Executive Studio: 60 guests
*Room capacities may vary based upon room set-up and venue. All rooms have breakout capability. The majority of the rooms can be divided with highly advanced air walls.

Of course it all depends on the layout of the room like they said......and they do say that all rooms have 'breakout capability'

Im no so worried anymore..........
