UM...I paid $40 for my TRIAL and I felt like a Million Bucks...
Don't think $1K is going to make a difference in a feeling!?!?!?!?!?!?
Jeez ladies - I guess that the LOL icons at the end of my quote didn't truly relate that I was being sarcastic with the 'feeling like a million bucks' comment...
Let me try it again![]()

I got it...I think I'm just still in shock of even trying to FATHOM someone uttering 'Yeah, I charge $1,000 for your hair and makeup on the day of the wedding. Will that be cash or charge?'

This is actually bugging me out! My FSIL used him for her wedding. I know it was big $$$. I recently asked FMIL how much he costs and she said a lot! You know when anyone answers that way its way too much and they are embarrassed to admit!! I have to say her make-up and hair was amazing! Honestly, she never looked better! I just can't see spending sooooo much!

she looks beautiful, but wait one second....
they are charging you $800 for hair and makeup. I'm sorry but I think that is complete insanity. I have seen a lot of other girls who's m/u looks just as good for much less.
I guess if you have the money, pay away, but it just seems outrageous to me. even if I had all that extra cash, I would probably put it into something else.
I couldn't agree more...I am paying 150 for my mu and I think THAT's alot
Oh, I wish I was born to rich parents (jk)

I have to say that I felt like most of you guys initially when my mom wanted me to go see Nelson.....BUT when you sit in that chair and see what he can do...BELIEVE me!!! You start to sing a VERY DIFFERENT tune......He is absolutely AMAZING! Definitely worth VERY penny and it is NOT the same work!!!P.S. My cousin used Maria for her wedding day and it was a FLAWLESS look! Hair and Makeup!!

I'm clueless...would you mind explaining a bit more how the application is different? Is it the MU that he uses? Is it the way it's applied?

If you've got it, I say go for it. To each her own. I looked into the D'Leons and ultimately it was too much for me, but I'm still paying a lot for hair and make-up on my day.His work is really beautiful.

Unless she is permanently tatooing the makeup on your face, I don't think $800 is worth it, no matter how good it looks.Welcome New Vendors
