OK, that has to be the best web site ever invented!! I can't tell you how many times I want to order from a place but I can't find their menu! I love it!!

OK, off my little soapbox there and get back to the topic... I think Houston's is a great idea. We will definitely have to make a reservation though about a week before. They have a pretty diverse menu too. I love America but the menu is TOO BIG

I can never decide what to eat ther because there are too many choices.

What area(s) of the city do we want to consider? I know a good place called America that has all kinds of food and drinks..it's really big too. It's on 18th St., I think, so I dont' know if that's too far south for some people. I'll go anywhere.

Houston's takes reservations for big groups. I guess it just depends on how many we are.

I was just going to say this. Last time I was there (which was well over a year ago) , they didn't take reservations. That might be a bit of a problem if we are a large group on a Friday nite

Okay, here's what I think: Houston's is probably the better location for more people. America has a more reasonably priced menu and more vegetarian options (I'm not vegetarian, but others may be). There's more stuff there to cater to all tastes, but as luckybride2004 said, it can be really hard to choose.

I'll go to either place, but that's my two cents

ETA: EEK!! I just noticed that a burger is $14 at Houston's!!

I was just going to say.... ive been to Houstons and its pricey.

I mean... the cash is not a big deal to me... but it may be for some. Also don't forget if we do a restaurant as compared to a bar... we probably won't be able to spend as much time with each other as the restaurant will want to kick us out once we are done eating.

You guys were at Sutton Place for FIVE hours. Thats a long time... time flies.
