Re: No Flower Girl =(
Not me......I have young cousins/second cousins....but I'm not that close with them and I don't feel it's necessary to have children in the wedding.

Re: No Flower Girl =(
I don't have a flower girl either. We were going to ask FH's niece but they're moving to Hawaii next month and there's no way that their whole fam can make it to the wedding. :(I only have nephews on my side of the fam.

Re: No Flower Girl =(
ok now i dont feel as bad that i am not having a flower girl.the last wedding i was in, the flower girl was really annoying. she kept tugging the bride's dress during the ceremony and even grabbed the bride's boquet during the vows.

Re: No Flower Girl =(
We are not having a flower girl or a ring bearer.Petals will be prelaid on the sides of the runner and I see no reason to have the ring bearer since they really don't get the real rings anyway

I didn't have a flower girl either, until I found out my sister is having a girl this may!!!!!! She will be 6 months old at our wedding. I know she won't be able to walk down the isle, but she will be so adorable in a little flower girl dress, and flowers in her hair.

Re: No Flower Girl =(
I'm in the same boat - no flower girl and no ring bearer. I also don't have any little girls in my life.To be honest, I'm kind of happy about it. I figure the photos will go faster since I don't have to wait for a young child to cooperate and smile.
BTW, I'm 34.

I don't have one either. Everyone I know who has kids has all boys or children who are too old for it. I think they are adorable too...I have often joked that I would rent my MOH's neices (so beautiful).

Re: No Flower Girl =(
I don't have a flower girl either and I really wanted one, but we have no little girls in my family. I am very close with this family I used to babysit for and always thought the two littles girls would be in my wedding, but now they are too old. I do have a ring bearer, but I always pictured a little ring bearer and flower girl. Oh well, thats the way life goes.

Re: No Flower Girl =(
I don't have a flower girl and I'm kind of glad. I've been to weddings where the kids are on the dance floor. No I mean literally on the dance floor, sitting on the floor coloring or playing. You don't want to say anything to their parents because they're trying to have a good time too but it's a little crazy trying to make sure you don't step on them.

We had no flower girl...I think the majority of weddings I have been to in the past 10 years (and that is over 30) there was no flower girl....don't worry about it. It's nice to include the little ones if you have special ones in your life but not necessary!!Welcome New Vendors
