Non traditional Venues??

I am helping my sister scope out non traditional LI venues. She doesn't want a traditional catering hall and we thought about maybe a private room in a restaurant for a fancy/sophisticated sit-down dinner.

Any suggestions on places to check out? She's on a tight budget too, so we're trying not to break the bank.
