Oooh...are they going to be playing all 80's covers?? Clarendon is a bit of a hike, but I may be able to convince people to come. I didn't realize how many DC people on this board!

YEP, all 80s covers, with 80s movies in the background and they dress up 80s...they do this twice a year and add another keyboard player, sax player, etc...it's SOOO much fun!!!! Would love to finally meet you!!!

I really want to meet you too. It's amazing how crazy things are though. Thank goodness there's only 2 more weeks left of this semester!

Oh I hear you there...Friday night is probably my only fun/relaxation time all weekend!!!!! GOod Luck finishing up, if not Friday, then some other time at GN or near school!!

BUMPING since tonight is a really fun outdoor gig in Herndon for all you out west a little...Friday Night LIve 7pm-10pm (following by gig at Ned's).

It's a family friendly event and very low key!!

My DH’s (Kevin) time with Gonzo's Nose is coming to an end. He is leaving the band after 10 years since he will be pursuing a joint MBA/MSF degree.

This is quite bittersweet for both of us... When the band first started I didn't know Kevin at all and we've been through a lot and grown up a lot since then. It is really because of the band that my good friend from Hauppauge HS started in 1996 that I am married to him today.

There are currently 8 public gigs on the calendar left that Kevin will be playing.

I am listing the remaining gigs and hope you can make one or more and party with me (or GTG?) one last time as a wife/groupie

Saturday, Aug. 12-- Virginia Beach
Friday, Aug. 18- Arlington County Fair
Thursday, Aug. 24- Clarendon Grill (William & Mary Happy hour early and regular gig following)

CLARENDON'S Grill's 10 year anniversary party is this Friday (September 29)! Gonzo's is playing (they'll be ten in 2 months too)....would love to meet some of you if you are free.
