Fav stores - Express, BR and BCBG. I have never spent over $75 for jeans (I would much rather save that splurge $$$ for sweaters or bags or shoes!)

Same hear... but since planning the wedding I spent $0 dollars on any type of clothing.

I spend way too much on clothes- from Bloomies to Target

I love to mix high end stuff with target

I have spent over $250 on jeans- I have no defense

I love to get stuff on sale- but that just makes me buy more-

I spend $150+ on jeans. I don't consider my favorite shops high end it's just the price of things nowadays.

$150 for jeans?!

the one's I buy at Macy's are $60

There is no way I'd pay over 100 for jeans!!! I really like NY & co. and they always have sales going on. Clothing is something I don't spend a lot on individual items but probably have $1,000's worth of clothes all together.

I second this! I love NY & Co. clothing. I would buy out the store if I could!!!! I buy most of my dressy and work clothing from them.

My other store is Victoria's Secret (online & catalog). There's the typical lingerie thing, but I buy sweaters and tops from them and I love the quality!!!!!!!!

I love NY&Co. I used to work there back in the Lerner days...and when we got a 40% discount plus a few times a year a 20% discount card for all Limited owned stores, like Bath & Body Works, VS, Structure, Express, Limited, etc.

Once I moved out of my house (8 yrs ago) I stopped. Not having a sweet discount on clothes and having to pay rent bit that one. I rarely buy clothes now...I finally have a huge walk in closet and it's empty!

Regarding the jeans....my body will only wear Levis so I spend anywhere from $20-80 on jeans. Love the Levis outlets!

I seriously doubt it. some people are all about labels. I used to be like that too, now I know better

ETA: don't get me wrong, I love Coach bags and fine things. I just don't splurge on them as often as I used to. there are more important things in life to me.

I spend nothing on clothes. It's sad, I have this thing about spending money on myself. It's not that I can't afford it, I can. But it makes me sick to spend the $$ on myself.

I've been complaining lately to DH I have no clothes and no good shoes and he's been begging me to go shopping. Yes, ladies... begging

I went for a quick shopping spree last week and it nearly gave me a panic attack!

I spend a lot on clothes..but I prefer to have a few really nice pieces and the rest are seasonal and get replaced each year.

Totally agree!!! I buy a lot of clothes, but the styles change every season, so I do not buy that many expensive things. I like to be in style, so I would rather save money on buying inexpensive items and be able to change my clothes every season.

They were True Relgion jeans with the rips down the front- Jessica Simpson wore them in Dukes of Hazzard

I used them as my motivational jeans to lose weight

they happen to look really good on- I normally spend between $75 to $150 on jeans

It's hard for me to find jeans b/c I am short- so I will spend the money on Deisl jeans b/c they come in lenghts- so do Abercrombie jeans- but the shorts there are not always short-

I'm the same as you. I have quite a few high end pieces that I mix with Express and Abercrombie. I haven't shopped in a really long time though, mostly because I wasn't working.

Nordstrom and Neiman are my favorites, but if I really want to splurge I go to Americana in Manhasset.

Yeah, but you have them and you'll probably have them for a while. Some people would never even think of spending $400 on a bag in the first place. I figure do the spending now before I have to spend that money on diapers.

I have yet to find a pair of Old Navy jeans that make my A$$ look as good as my Seven's do. JMHO

My family didn't have a lot of money when I was growing up, so I never shopped in expensive stores.

Now that I make over six figures, I still can't justify spending a lot of money on clothes. I would rather go to a Marshall's or TJ Maxx and get something on sale.

I spend around $60 to $80 on jeans. I love expensive stuff, but can't always buy it. I just spend $400 at J Crew for HM clothes.

Clothing items I spend alot on are jeans, bags, dresses, and bathing suits.

Cheaper jeans just don't look the same as more expensive ones IMO. Also, I am short and I need jeans that come in short.

My absolute favorite sotre is Bloomies!! mY scond home is the second g=floor at the 59th st & Lex store. And I hate to admit it but I pay over $150for Jeans, but let me just add tat Jeans are my favotite piece of clothings, they go with EVERYTHING!!

I love banana republic, the gap, macys, and ebay. Ebay is my favorite place in the world. I love clothes, but I love bags even more and will spend a lot on them. Clothes, I can mix cheap with a bit more expensive and feel fine but I LOVE my bags but still make sure I get a good deal. My bag now is normally $1100 but I got it for $400!

i have the same problem! i always see cute stuff, and even if i know that i can splurge on it, i usually don't. its hard to bring myself to shop for me. i don't know why, i think it comes from growing up with very little money. i usually tell myself that i will do a lot of shopping after i get a 'real' job---after grad school. for now, i shop seasonally at old navy, kohls, department stores. ~lacey

way too much!! I have expensive taste

but I haven't been spending and saving for the wedding. I have not bought anything new since Christmas but I think I need a few outfits soon for my shower, my sister's engagement party, and for the Rehearsal Dinner ( I can't help myself).
