Re: NWR: I lost my job!!
As for the unemployment insurance, they don't just look at the very last job, they look at jobs before that. I don't remember the numbers (and I'm sorry, but I'm too lazy to get up and look them up) - but you need to have X number of weeks of qualifying employment. If you were collecting before you got this job, and didn't collect the full number of weeks you're entitled to, you can go back and refile.

Re: NWR: I lost my job!!
I'm really sorry to hear about your job loss :( I wish you the best of luck. As a career counselor, I would warn though about merely posting your resume on job sites, and waiting for interviews. It's one way, but not the only way to find new employers. Only 20% of jobs in the US are ever advertised, so the best job search is a proactive one, with networking being a major component of that search. (Not saying that is all you are doing, but we see a lot of people who make that mistake). If there are professional organizations that cover your industry, you should make sure you are involved, and attending their events. Also contact anyone you know in the industry and let them know you are looking. If you would like help with your resume, please FM, and I will FM you my email address.

Re: NWR: I lost my job!!
You can file for unemployment, they will just collect from your previous job that you held for more than 6 months. You don't even have to go anywhere to file, from the convience of your home you call it in. I hope this helps you out.Welcome New Vendors
