STOP DRINKING DIET DRINKS!!!!!! Diet soda will hold on to fat deposits, particularly on your a$$ stomach and hips. ITs makes a big difference. Also drink LOTS of water and increase the intensity and duration of your cardio. I hate to say it too but you're not working out enough. You should add another day in if you really want to burn some fat.

If you REALLY want to get rid of it fast then cut out carbs...that should do it....good luck!

WOW!!! I guess I'm amazed that I'm not working out enough. And I thought I was torturing myself

I think I workout enough but I definitely need to focus more on my eating. I LOVE food too much

Thank you again for all your input. I'm going to start making changes now.

Re: NWR: 'Love Handles', 'Spare Tire', Belly Fat

like everyones said before you need cardio but water is a big thing! if you drink mainly water and no soft drinks, or juices with the syrups in them you will lose weight and also be a lot healthier. when i started drinking just the water, i lost a ton of weight, and i didnt change my eating habits or excersing. so believe me the water intake makes a HUGE difference.

Re: NWR: 'Love Handles', 'Spare Tire', Belly Fat

Doing all of those sit ups unfortunately won't help you spot reduce.

It sounds like you need to vary your routine; take a break from the treadmill, try spinning, pilates, step aerobics. If you love running, still do it, but vary your cardio.

What exactly are you eating? Are you eating enough protein? Are you eating enough calories? You may be eating healthy foods but if you aren't eating the right balance of carbs/protein/fat, you won't get the best results that you can get.

What's your weight training routine?

Re: NWR: 'Love Handles', 'Spare Tire', Belly Fat

Run, run, run. Weight train and diet. How many miles are you running and what speed? I find running 3 times a week...anywhere from 6.0 to 6.5 and 2-5 miles works best. It may sound hard to some but you can work your way up to it! I also try and rotated spin in once a week (burns 400-500 calories) and I weight train about 3 times a week. Also I like weight watchers or southbeach. Right now I am doing a low sugar weight watchers.

You guys may think this is crazy for someone my size but this is how I have stayed this size. Diet diet diet, gym gym gym. I gained 25 pounds in college which was a lot for me and it would have kept going up and up but I got a hold of it...lost some and managed to maintain for 5 years now. Yeah sometimes I fall off or eat bad for a month or two but then get right back on it! So stick with it and you can all do it!
