I've been a Mets fan since 1985 and FH is a die hard Yankee fan. Subway series games are always interesting at our house

As a peace offering, I surprising him with a Yankee logo grooms cake at our reception.

I was raised a Met fan and will always be a Met fan. FH likes the Yankees (he's not into watching the games religously or anything and neither am I but every once in a while it's fun for us like this past weekend)... I'm definitely not the type of person to EVER put down another team-- I think win or lose they all work hard and baseball is such a nice, fun AMERICAN passtime which is great... So I would never put down the Yankees because I'm a Mets fan even though a lot of people put down my team when I say I like them, oh well.

But I think both teams tried very hard this weekend and I think they did very well and I'm happy that the Mets won the games they did and I'm happy that it was a great weekend for all New Yorkers in general to enjoy great baseball
