I am so sorry for the loss of your kitty... I know how hard it is, I lost the cat I had had for 16 years in the Spring. I cried and cried for days...
Just know he is no longer in pain now...

There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors.
Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass. When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place.
There is always food and water and warm spring weather. The old and frail animals are young again. Those who are maimed are made whole again. They play all day with each other.
There is only one thing missing. They are not with their special person who loved them on Earth.
So, each day they run and play until the day comes when, one suddenly stops playing and looks up! The nose twitches! The ears are up! The eyes are staring! And this one suddenly runs from the group!
You have been seen, and when you and your special friend meet, you take him or her in your arms and embrace,
Your face is kissed again and again and again, and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet.
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated

I know exactly how you feel- we had to put my cat Oreo to sleep two weeks ago- she was 18-- I have had her since I was 7! She was having seizures and the doctor thought that she has a stroke, and that the damage was irreversible. It was so devastating b/c she truly was part of the family. We still have her son and he has been lost without her. It seems so hard right now, but it gets better a little bit each day once you see that you enriched each others lives and that she/he was in so much pain here, but is better there. Feel better!

i'm so so sorry. i know it's one of the most difficult decisions to make (we had to put our cat to sleep last summer).

Abu is in a better place now.

I'm so sorry! I feel for you, I lost my kitty Annie last weekend. I've been so upset. We have to believe they're in Kitty Heaven!

I'm soo sorry for your loss. I know losing Abu is like losing one of your children. But know he is in kitty heaven with no more pain.

I'm very sorry about your cat. I know how it is to put an animal down due to a disease. My dog Lucky had to be put down at age 6. Her throat was closing up due to cancer. I'm very sorry.

thank you so much for this. i am crying so hard from reading it that i can hardly type. it's beautiful and i know it's true. i can't wait to see him again one day.

it's so weird. i keep walking downstairs and he's not sleeping on the radiator like he has for the past 12 years. he was always there and now one of our other cats is sleeping there. that's hard to look at.

Im SO sorry to hear about your baby Abu!!! I have 3 cats that I am VERY attached to so I know how hard it much be for you. But just know that he is in a better place now and is not in pain anymore. Here are some for you
