Re: NWR- Question for all you fashionable ladies?

I usually wear boots in the winter, but if I have to wear open toe shoes, the only way I'll do it is if I have toeless hose.

I hope i do not offend anyone!!! So here is a before I say my peace....

My biggest peeve (sp?) is people who wear panty hose with open toe shoes..imo, it is tacky!!!

I think you can get away with some open toe shoes during the winter months, but for the most part you should stick with winter styled..there are many cute strappy closed toes shoes..

don't hate me!

Me too~

Sorry if this upsets anyone

hey girls- that's cool, but again for clarity- I didn't mean if you wear hose WITH open toed shoes.

I just wanted to know if you go bare (no hose AND strappy shoes.)

don't worry though- you are of course entitled to you honest opinion!

It's all good...in my prev. post I wrote:

ie..i think u can get away with anything ...i would personally wear a closed strappy..unless the open matched better..

Re: NWR- Question for all you fashionable ladies?

omg - no...my legs are so white I would be mortified to go without pantyhose in the Winter. I wear close toed shoes with pantyhose as long as it is cold enough. Sometimes I think bare legs in the Winter look ridiculous, and unless you have a killer pair of legs, it probably shouldn't be done.

Re: NWR- Question for all you fashionable ladies?

Sally Hansen makes this product. Its spray on panty hose--really what is is like spray on foundation in a can.. it darkens your legs giving them a flat/matted look/color.

i've used in once in the summer when my legs were still white.

but for now.. i'll stick to pantyhose for the winter (on the rare occasion that I need to wear a skirt during the winter)

Re: NWR- Question for all you fashionable ladies?

If I'm wearing open toed shoes in the winter, I am not wearing pantyhose. If you're gonna sacrifice for the sake of style, then do it the right with no pantyhose.

Re: NWR- Question for all you fashionable ladies?

They sell pantyhose with the open toes. That way your legs stay warm but your toes are open. I wore them to a January wedding and it was great.

Re: NWR- Question for all you fashionable ladies?

If I am ever wearing strappy open toe shoes, regardless of the season, I am going bare.

As much as I hate pantyhose, the only time I usually will wear them is in the winter with knee high boots. I don't like having chilly thighs!!

Re: NWR- Question for all you fashionable ladies?

When its cold I definitely wear tights, even under pants otherwise I'm freezing my bootie off.

During summer time never, unless I'm going to a wedding.

Re: NWR- Question for all you fashionable ladies?

Macy's has panty hose that is toeless.. I forget who makes it... but you can get that... that way your legs are warm and you don't have panty hose sticking out....
