Re: NWR--Spinoff--What does everyone do for a living???
I have my Masters degree in Occupational Therapy which is helping others to be as functional as possible despite disabilities.I work in a private practice for early intervention. We help families with children who are at risk for developmental delays. The majority of our clients are from birth to 3 years but I also conduct clinical treatment for up to age 15 years. We work on motor, sensory, cognitive, self-help, and other skills.
It's tough to drive to and from each home, school, and day care for 11 hours each day but then I can TRULY say I get *** 'paid to play with babies' *** hehe. I'm also starting my PhD after our wedding so I can conduct research in pediatrics and mental health.
If anyone wants info or advice, contact me. Photo taken with permission from my favorite family - caption says it all.
It’s the BEST JOB in the world to me besides for loving my future hubby!
