John and i had a realllllly hard time deciding too. we went from bora bora to hawaiia to what we decided on now which was jamaica and then a cruise.
you should figure out what you want to spend first...then figure out what you want out of it like do you want just relaxation or do you want some adventure. also if you want all inclusive or not.

once you figure that out i would email a travel agent and ask them for suggestions based on your info

We have our budget but I want to do something relaxing and FH wants to do something touristy... neither of us want to do a cruise because we've never been on one so we don't want our first cruise experience to be our honeymoon in case it turns out one of us can't handle being on the open ocean.

We started out with Fiji but I don't get enough time off from work to make the travel worth it, then I wanted Hawaii but he wants Europe (Spain and France) and I was ok with that as long as we could throw a Greek island on at the end so I get my 'relaxing' part of the trip. But then again we end up with a time issue.

If you used a TA can you FM me their info???

gina i used Dawn Dorr from Cruise One...shes also under Dawns Honeymoon Specialists i think under the LIW vendor page.
she doesnt just do cruises so dont let the cruise one fool you,
she is a total sweetheart and very helpful. i adore her.
Have you thought about costa rica? i have heard its a mix of relaxation and adventure.
