I'm picking up invitations tomorrow morning! I can't even wait!! I'm going to order stamps on zazzle.com because they have nice love stamps for the new postage.They have great shipping options. I'm going to do the 2 day and we're going to try to send all our invites out on this Friday. You can also do stamps.com and customize your own stamps. I think it's going to feel so real when I see the invites. Good luck girls!

How did your tasting go Andrecky? We just finished 95% of our invites...I am going to try to get to the post office tomorrow to mail them out. That was the most stressful thing ever!!! This week I want to work on meeting with vendors, finishing my card box, and buying bm gifts. Getting stressed!

Hi ladies!

Sent out most of our invitations yesterday....I brought them to be hand cancelled and they said they would and they didn't. My mom got hers today and said it was mangled up. My mom is so mad!!! She said she's going to yell at them tomorrow because they should have said they weren't gonna do it or tell me to come back another time. Lame! FH and the guys went to pick out tuxes and vests today. He got all the info and he has style numbers so I was able to check them out online. I'm glad that's done. It's been a productive week so far!

Medford....in Suffolk county. I actually live in Patchogue (the town over) but I heard that Medford was much nicer about wedding invitations so I went there instead!

You should make sure it's after the tasting so you can eat as much as you want and work it off at the dance lessons!!!

ok, im very unsure with the hand canceling...yesterday i decided it wasn't necessary...but after reading all of this, i'm having second thoughts!

i feel like i've accomplished a decent amount of stuff recently, but can't remember any of it to save my life right now

I sent out my invites on Wednesday, I did not hand cancel and almost all the local people received there invite yesterday. I do have a jewel on my invite as well, the post office told me there wasn't a need for hand stamping.

hey girls. im an august bride. the 14th at the westbury manor!!!

my invites went out yesterday. im so happy with the amount of money i spent on them. about $180 for 125 invites, $103 on calligraphy by inkspun, and my MIL mailed them out and requested they were hand cancelled so i dont know how much the postage was!!
