hey!! so my meeting with anna went well.....she was easy to work with. as far as the chair covers, i told them that lou, my original bm, said that they would be included, and anna said that it wasnt on the contract, so i couldnt have them for free, but she checked with mike closs, and he gave me a dollar off the price, with the bows. so i took them, although i still think that they should just have them as their own, and include them with everyones package. but everything else went fine, and the new carpets look great, and so does the outside area!!!

I assume that they are replacing the carpets everywhere, but didn't get to do it all at once. When I first was looking at the rooms, Mike Closs gave us the chair covers included in the package, but forgot to put it on the contract. When I called, he said to come in and he'll add it in. I happened to be passing through NY on my way to Boston this weekend so I stopped by and got this done as well as ordered my dresss (talk about efficient use of time!

I was there today and have to agree with Glinda that the carpets look great!! My BM said they're putting in the rest soon. I wonder if pnmkn is the bride I saw there while we were there today meeting with our BM. We arranged to have our CH extended because of the photo time, I don't want to miss our entire CH.

Also I got a call today from FLowers by Brian. I'm guessing JT passes on their clients info to their vendors. Considering I don't even know my color scheme yet, should I meet with them? Or should I wait until I have a color scheme?

Also any JT brides dealing with Pedestals? I noticed they're only across the street!!!

Hey, quick question, our reception is in the Oak room because we're only having 75-110 people, would you recommend high or low centerpieces in that room? Considering all the murals on the walls, I really want something with candles and flowers, but not to take away from the beauty of the room!!!

I would go with low centerpieces with lots of candles. That room is gorgeous. JMO but I think the high centerpieces will hide the rooms beautiful murals on the walls and the architecture.
