We're hoping to do Greece, but we'll see what the budget has in store for us...I feel it's going to end up being like Cape Cod or someplace totally anti-climactic

Isn't it amazing how you plan for something all along and then you find yourself saying 'yeah, that would be nice' about a place you never thought you would go for your HM. I think at this point, we are just looking to get away and be left alone without an overwhelming itinerary.

ITA.... I had this whole idea of what a HM should be like and was dead set on tahiti/bora bora... but in the grand scheme of things... its just another vacation... we're not rich, we could certanly put that money we're saving by not going there towards a condo which would last us a whole lot longer... im not gonna knock others that do the extravagent HM bc hey... maybe they do have the money to do that... its a once in a lifetime event, once you have a family and massive bills to pay, it'll be harder to take that tahiti vacation
