Personally, I would go with C

A- I wouldn't want someone who knows me from professional life taking pictures of me

B- WHoa! I would be too petrified to be any amount of naked with someone from the internet

C-Reputable company- My choice

Hi Shana!!! I did get your FM and I will look and see what I have to send you, as far as whats on negative. My husband had his surgery, thats why I didnt get back to you sooner.
My feeling is this..if its a parent and she does this sort of thing for a living,..no harm in that..just be sure you get the negatives etc so she has nothing of you. Are there any photographers by you that specialize in Boudoir Photography?
I definately think you should do it..its not for everyone and those that say save your money..its a personal opinion. Dex was THRILLED with my pictures and Im glad I did it. When Im 50, Ill still be glad I did them. YOU are the only one who knows what your husband will like and I think its great you are doing them!
Another option is doing them yourself. Paint shop pro has AWESOME editing and can make ANY picture look very professional. I can even burn my software for you and mail it to you if youd like. Its very easy to use. You can order wedding style professional albums online and you can choose how many pictures you want to include. Please know if I can help ya in anyw ay!

A- would just be uncomfortable for me.

B- is an option, but I would have to meet the person first to make sure that I felt comfotable with him. The fact that it is a guy would not really bother me as long as he is professional. It would not bother DH either.

C- seems like the easiest choice because it is a company that has a reputation.

leaning towards Glamour Shots unless I find a inexpensive enough professional photographer.

I'm not going to go to NY with him....
A: it's only for a day and a half for a court appointed dr appt.
B: he's staying at his parents (ewww....all his clothes hit the laundry when he comes home SMOKE)
C: don't want to take the time off from work since I just started and we need that money


Why I want to do the pics:
He'll LOVE it
I'll be proud of myself for doing something like this
We only have a First Anniversary ONCE....

Oh...and IF he ever brags about it....I'll be the hot chick with sexy photos! His friends ALREADY think I'm the greatest!

SAVE YOUR $$!!! Its a waste. Is he really going to put the picture out around the house? Or at work? And I'm sure he's really going to show his parents or friends. And even if you say its for his eyes only, he's only going to look at it what once? And would you want your kids to find it one day? Yes, your first anniv. only comes once but please, cheesy pics that he's going to throw in a box in the closet? Honestly, I highly doubt he will love it. You should seriously rethink it. Give him tickets to a sporting event or a concert instead or even the sheet music to his favorite song, that's paper. Or find something he collects that comes in paper that he might appreciate more. I really think these pictures are the wrong way to go. Why spend any amoung of $ on something that is going to get thrown in a drawer or box under the bed?That's my honest opinion.

She asked for ALL honest opinions and while she only gave three choices apparently others thought there should be a fourth on that list and that is THEIR honest opinion which I believe falls under the ALL category. Doesn't mean she has to listen to them or like them. It wasn't a direct attack on her in any way and while I reread what I wrote it did sound rather b*tchy (and I apologize to her for that) I was simply trying to point out some things she may or may not have thought about. Sometimes when we get caught up in an idea we tend to overlook some aspects of it. In MY opinion I'd rather not spend $60 or $120 on a photo that would end up under the bed and forgotten about in a week and I most certainly wouldn't care if my husband's $3.50 Playboy was there that he had forgotten about. Whether its a sexy picture of me or a sexy picture from Playboy isn't the issue.

Actually..I did mine over a year ago, they arent cheesy at all and my husband still looks at them. As I said its a matter of a personal opinion, its not for everyone, but I dont think its fair to discourage Shana from doing something that she really wants to do, obviously she has thought this through and was only asking WHERE she should do it, not IF she should do it. Not everyones husbands would want this and not all women would want to do it..but I happen to know a woman in her 50's who did tastefully nude shots when she was much younger and is VERY glad she did them! Again, the question here isnt if she should do them, Shana knows her husband well enough to know if he will appreciate them or not. Best of luck Shana!!!
