I went to elementary and High School with Keith Murray (rapper) and I went to college with P-Diddy and Marlon Wayans. Neither P-diddy or Marlon Wayans graduated, but they gave diddy and honorary degree which ticked me off.

Pat Benatar went to my HS.
Pat Benatar graduated from my HS way before me....So did Dan Lauria from the wonder years! Never went to school with them but I did lifeguard for Dan Lauria once or twice when he came down to our HS pool to swim laps! He actually used to come by a lot.
And I taught swim lessons to Raquel Castro from Jersey Girl!

I went to Howard University also.... I was actually at the dinner where they gave P-Diddy the honorary degree. Although he didn't graduate, money talks and he donated a whole lot $$$ to the school.

Liv Tyler went to the school down the street from me until she was 12. I never met her but a good friend of mine attended with her. Said she was really snooty...and this was BEFORE she knew who her real father was.

Dan Lauria taught at Lindenhurst too. I totally forgot about that!!!!! My stepmother taught with him

I went to school from kindergarten to third grade(she left to be Annie) with Rosanne Sorrentino who played Annie on Broadway and was Pepper in the Annie movie.
She came back when we were in 8th grade right after she made the movie.

I went to jr. high with Suzanne Casale, better known as 'Lil Suzy'. She had that song 'Take Me in Your Arms' back in like 1992-93 when we were in 8th grade.

It wasn't an honorary degree, it was the disginguished alumni award. I was a student when they announced he was getting the award. Lots of people tried to fight it bc they said he doesn't deserve it bc he didn't graduate. The University said that he was an alumnus bc the word is defined as a graduate or former student. I'm sure the $500,000 scholarship endowment also swayed the decision.
I was also at the dinner where he was given the award and he gave a really good speech.
