I agree, I think when FH said you weren't home he should have left a number.When you initially IM him why didn't he say I have to speak to you, I'll call? Not to mention since when do you call people at home in the evening to lay the off. What happened to a meeting in the office?

I'm pissed for you.
I'm sorry for you having to be in this situation, but when you think about it you don't really want to be at company who shows professsionalism that way.

Just remember God never gives you more than you can handle, maybe you just shouldn't have been there b/c theres a better opportunity coming you way

I am so sorry this happened, but on the bright side you will find another job in no time.
So many places need accounting professionals.
And a lot of the bigger firms in NYC start your benefits on day 1.

Well I have 5 interviews lined up so far....and I'm sure my phone will be ringing off the hook as I sent my resume to about 80 places today.

However I am not even close to giving up. I still have another paycheck that is owed to me next week. I just wonder if he will pay me for the whole week out of courtesy or not.

You may want to temp work if you have some spare time just to make some money while your looking so you dont fall behind on your bills, ladies do you agree ?
