Peggy Peters- Great Neck

Well ladies --- I went and left.

The woman I worked with was so unhelpful and rude. Since I was looking for a color that isn't that populare she had the audacity to ask my MOH "Why is she so stuck on that color?"

After a couple of minutes she told us "Go through the racks and try on what you like. If you need help, let me know." Then proceeded to stand in the front of the store and ignore us. I continuously had to go find her to have her answer my questions. Now, why did I make an appointment for that???? I could have gone to a department store for that.

HI Rachel I am sorry you had a bad time with Peggy Peters. It sounds even more snobby than when I went with my mother!!! Ugh well I bet you can find the bridesmaid dresses cheaper than at their place and you know what, 10 girls in a bridal party is sort of big, No? Well I am sure you will find a better place soon! Heather

I'm wondering about some of the details of this poll. How many people were polled? Were they all vendors? And how long ago? I'd appreciate the info because I think I would be able to better interpret it with some more detail on how the data was obtained. Thanks!

Hi Rachel! Are you just looking for bridesmaid dresses? I thought Bridal Reflections in Carle Place had a large selection- have you tried there? I also liked Bonaventure in Garden City although the selection was not as abundant, their prices were very reasonable. Hang in there!

Thanks for sharing this information. I really like them and I might order my favors soon.

Hi Rachel. Isnt it amazing we are the customers and the attitudes we get. Well. I am not sure where you live but My mom and I went to Sophisticated Lady in Patchogue. Huge selection of MOB and BM dresses. Very sweet help also. Very knowledgable. It is on Main Street in Patchogue. My mom was able to find her dress in about 10 minutes (not bad). I got my bridesmaids dresses and my dress at Adriennes in Islip. She gave me a discount because I needed 13 dresses so check them out too. Good Luck!!

Thank you all for the referrals. From now on I will stick you the recommendations I get. I am keeping my chin up. I won't let one store ruin what should be one of the greatest experiences of my life.

Thanks again to all of you.

I am so sorry, but don't worry, it seems like you still have time to fix it and everything will be fine.
