Just wondering if anyone has one? I am almost finished with ours and would love suggestions/ideas Has anyone else thought about this? Laura If anyone is interested here is the address www.laurajeremy.homestead.com/home.html The Bridal Party page is blank because I have not asked them yet!!!

I think it would look very pretty - and give you many options for flowers as well! : )

Re: sizes. Either and A line or a princess cut would work well - esp for the pregnant maid. You can take it to someone and have panels added.

Thanks Gina-- it's funny but I think the same thing-- talking to so many of you on here -- I am constantly telling Jeremy about the great things I learn and then I tell him who it is from like you guys are people he knows!! How much of yours did you complete? Any suggestions for me?? Laura

We ordered our wedding rings tonight. They'll be ready in 10 days. We used the same jeweler we purchased our engagement ring from....he's done business w/my cousin for over a decade so we trust him.

Paul chose a relatively plain band w/detail on the edge - yellow gold. Cost $70. Mine? Well, in order to match my engagement ring, it is a relatively thin white gold w/7 princess cut diamonds across the center. Cost? $550. Sooooooooooo much more than I wanted to spend but within our budget b/c Paul's was simple & inexpensive. Paying cash - no tax.

Laura, You did an excellent job with your web page and you guys really do make an adorable couple. My finance has just started to make ours. It is so cute b/c he is really getting into it. I figure i have so much planning to do that it's nice to see him getting involved in an area he really enjoys. I'll keep you posted with suggestions.

By the way - I noticed you chose Full House for your band - I was also interested in them. If possible could you please forward me any info. you may have or any recommendations for other bands. Thanks!!!

Avoid the hassle and stay away. Anyone know a good favor store?

Great page! I also noticed you are getting married at St. Anne's. The pastor there, Fr. Gerry Twomey, is a very close friend of mine and a terrific priest. If you are planning the wedding with either him or Fr. Tom, you should have no problems. They are both excellent. Best of luck!!

Brendan

He did my cousin's wedding in October (everyone danced and had a great time!) and is doing mine this month. Very well priced - we're paying $750 for 5 hours. No handouts (not something we wanted) We're meeting with him next week to outline our program (his suggestion).

www.fieldsofgold.com is a personal wedding webpage that won some outstanding award. I found it a while back during a search and really appreciated the effort and detail they put into it. I wish I was that technically talented :-) They did an outstanding job with displaying their pictures. Check it out!!!

Not sure if you noticed or not-- but the Full House logo on my site woill connect you to their web page They performed at Jeremy's brothers wedding 3 years ago-- they were great then(according to everyone else) We got their video and then went to see them live-- Joe is the guy you deal with and he is great---real personable-- what we liked about them is 4 out of the 7 sing--so they sing songs according to their voice def worth checking them out we also looked at Mystic, ETA and TimeMachine-- Full house wasnt' the cheapest or most expensive but def the ones we loved hope that helps

At my shower, my FSIL gave me lingere. I felt a little awkward - b/c I'll obviously be using it when I'm having sex w/her brother!! Not that they don't know that we are having sex, but its not on the forefront of our dialogue (know what I mean?)

I had to hold it up in front of his mom, his aunts...i was so embarrassed. : (

Thanks I will As for putting the web page anywhere-- I don't think we will-- enough of our families/friends are online so we are jsut going to spread the word that way-- When we were going to send out Save the Date cards we were going to put it on there but we are not doing that anymore

I am from Plainview, but I am curently in North Dakota (US Air Force)....Yes, its hard to do much planning, but my fiancee is taking care of everything... just the way she likes it. We are getting married May 6, 2000. Fr. Tom and Fr. Gerry were priests at my Church when I was younger (St. Pius X in Plainview). Small world!!

Jack- unlike Therese I thought that the Milleridge offered a great selection of food for not such a crazy price. My fiance and I went to look at about 15 different places and we thought that we would get the most for our money at the Milleridge. The people there are willing to work with you on prices the only bad thing is that the minimums for guests are pretty high and there are limited dates left. We are planning on setting our date for there soon.

Glory- That's funny that you brought up Heather & Rich's website. I know her for 2 years from the knot-she lives out in Patchoque w? her new hubby. Great Girl!!

I really can't imagine only wearing this once! (I told Paul I'd probably put it on from time to time and wear it around the apartment - and he just laughed at me!)

Really??? Small world, huh? I had no idea they're from Long Island... Their site came up as a hit for some wedding search I was doing just before their wedding. I really liked it, and checked back to see the progress. Sweet!!!
