This is what my shoes looked like:
I think they were about 3' heels. I'm horrible walking in heels but because it has the strap around the ankle it made it easy, and comfortable. My feet hurt only at the last hour of the wedding.
I bought them at Shoes by Gennaro in Centereach but I did see them in other bridal shoe stores so you may be able to find them in Nassau.

I got those same shoes.... they are sooo comfy! But I'm also getting satin slippers for the reception - the minute my feet start hurting, I'm changing!!

Ok I'll admit right now I have a shoe fetish. I wore 3 different pairs throughout the day of the wedding.1st pair for photos and wore to church. Gorgeous on but OMG painful LOL
2nd pair - were the original pair I purchased as my day of shoes - and blinged out the bottom w/ my new initials. These were soooo comfy I put them on while on our way to pics after church and wore them almost until the end of reception.
3rd pair - were white wedge flippies I got on clearance at Target. Put them on when leaving reception and wore into the wee hours of the morning!

Did you do the initials yourself. They came out great!

I don't post that often but I love my shoes! I actually bought my shoes before I bought my dress which turned out to be the best idea because they had to measure my dress to my height!

OMG I'm so jealous, I love those!!!
i have a messed up back and hardly ever wear shoes so i needed something with a chunky heel I loved these and they fit like a glove so i grabed them
although I have been thinking getting dance shoes
I really should just stop looking and stick with what i have.
