My MOH made a big stink about wanting to wear a totally different dress AND shade of color than the rest of my BMs. No. I was NOT going to have that. In the end I end up paying for the damn dress and her shoes. She did give me some money. Since she wanted to be so 'different' she didn't do anything different on my big day as she NEVER gave a MOH speech, no bridal gown train adjustment at the alter, nothing else. She did not go 'the extra mile' just the bare minimum duties, not even average MOH. I want a consistent BM gown look on our wedding day and let her know that I was the bride and that I was in charge-I was the BRIDE. It's YOUR one big day where you're the boss and things should go in favor/in honor of you and your DH. How often do/will you have things go your way in your life where you and your DH are in total control?

Nope. Same gown as the rest of my bridesmaids. The only one different is my 12 year Jr. BM who has a different shade and different gown as she was only 12! My Jr. BM wore ivory rather than Champagne color, but her gown was the same style as it has a overlay piece. My Jr. BM was the only exception, all adult BM and MOH wore exactly the same gown and same color.

My MOH is wearing a completely different dress, she is wearing a bluebell strapless Nicole Miller gown and the maid are wearing pink strapless Vera Wangs.
