I have the same issue...my dress is like a pearl ivory...looks white but is definitely not white. I'm leaning towards having FH use an ivory shirt (my sister got an ivory dress and was told to have FH use ivory shirts, otherwise it would make her dress look dirty or dingy...especially if guys wore grey or silver vests) i think when i get my dress in im gonna go stand next to some white shirts and see what i think lol either or should be fine though.

I never really had though too much about it, but my dress is lace, and it's ivory spun glod, so I'm not sure.

I would probably lean towards white shirts and white for FH, they will all have their jackets on, so how much do you really see?

What I was told is that the groom has to match the bride - so if you wear ivory he wears ivory. And the groomsmen match the bride's maids

I had an ivory dress and I had my husband wear an ivory shirt. My father wore a regular white shirt. It's a slight difference and varies in different lighting. See pictures below:

Just do what I'm doing, my dress is ivory with gold beading, but, my fiance is in a band, and wants to wear black on black. He tried on his tux and he looked great! I'm so excited! Just have to spruce him up with an ivory flower, and we're set!
