I think that dress is really nice and if it gets hot you can take off the sweater!

I voted for the first one, you look very pretty in it, the second one is not bad but it looks like something you can wear to an interview

Thank you for your honest opinion. This is one of the reasons I'm torn. I feel like the second outfit is a work outfit and the first one is more 'special' - but then I wasn't sure if I looked okay in the dress!

I agree....go with the 'special' outfit.

I vote for #1!! I have a minor obsession with brown, and I just love that print on the dress!! if the place is air conditioned maybe you'll be ok, but you could definitely try to find something lighter to wear over the dress if you have time (in white OR brown).

Kara, you're probably all decided by now, but I just wanted to tell you that I think the dress looks great on you! I like it WITH the sweater too! If the place is air conditioned like you said, it's perfect (I know I tend to get cold easily in air conditioning).

PS: did you go get the spanx? I looooove it!

both outfits are very pretty, but I think the second one looks more professional. the brown dress is very pretty for a bridal shower, especially on a nice warm day! have fun at your shower!
