I looked my date up on Wikiepedia and a ton of historical stuff happened on my day...

As far as FUN stuff, this was all I could find!

1928- Mickey Mouse premiered in his first cartoon, Plane Crazy

1940 - McDonald's opens its first restaurant in San Bernardino, California.

1941 - Baseball player Joe DiMaggio of the New York Yankees starts his record-breaking 56-game hitting streak.

Just a couple of many interesting things that have happened on May 23rd. I find Bonnie and Clyde to be especially interesting, but not fun (I'm Bonnie - luckily, I'm not marrying Clyde).

1929 - The first talking cartoon of Mickey Mouse, 'The Karnival Kid', is released.
1934 - American bank robbers Bonnie and Clyde are ambushed by police and killed in Black Lake, Louisiana.

We will have the same anniversary as Howard Stern& Beth Ostrosky! They were married Oct 3, 08 (we're Oct 3, 09)..
FH is a huge fan of Stern, and I adore Beth..
