Processional

I have a few minor details about the processional that I am trying to work out, and I am just curious what everyone else is doing. Are you guys having the bridesmaids walk in with the groomsmen or are all of the groomsmen going to be at the alter and the bridesmaids walk down by themselves? I have even seen a wedding where the groomsmen meet the bridesmaids half way, does anyone have any other creative suggestions about this part of the ceremony? I would also like to know from a photographs point of view which is easier to photograph and what comes out better.

thanks in advance for your input

Processional

It is a bit different. Rob is Jewish and I am Catholic. Apparently, it is a Jewish custom that both parents walk each child down the aisle. My parents are both deceased, so I am having my younger brother escort me.

My husband is also Jewish and his parents walked him down the aisle. I think it's a really nice tradition to have the groom walk down the aisl especially with his parents. We have beautiful pictures from that.

We has ushers and bridesmaids coupled. The the best man alone, MOH alone, then Craig and his parents. Then me with my brother and mother.

Processional

I too am having the Ushers and Bridesmaids walk up as couples. I am even having my little neices and nephews paired up as "couples" but the MOH will walk up alone because the Best Man which is actually Joe's sister will already be up front with Joe.

So we're off to find a new locale....

Processional

Ours is a little weird b/c instead of a large bridal party, we're having a MoH, BM and our immediate family walk in as part of the processional. IF we had a big bridal party, they would have been in it but honestly, I couldn't fathom having to coordinate all those outfits, flowers, etc...so they'll all wear their own unique outfits...our procession:

groom escorted by his parents grooms sisters & their husbands maid of honor & best man my sister & cousin my aunt & my sisters fiance' me and dad

thanks in advance for your input
