Those are all great names! I will have to pass them along to my DH. The puppy is a boy and he is a giant mush!!!!! We think he was abused by the way he crawls to you instead of walking/running like a puppy should. He is a bit timid, but has been coming around lately.

Edited to say: I tried to enlarge the pics and it didn't work. I tried posting on shutterfly, and then posting the pic here. It's still not working. Any help?

OMG, Leaks is so cute! I really hope you get to keep him. FYI, if he has been abused and it sounds like he has, that is probably part of the reason he is 'leaking' all over the house (also because he is a puppy). Once he gets accustomed to his new home and begins to feel safe and confident, it will be easier to teach him where to go. Right now he is too scared and probably in shock to really comprehend anything. He also is peeing to show fear and submission and not just because he has to go, the worst thing to do in that situation is to yell or show anger, it will only worsen his fear and therefore the problem. Try to ignore it when you see him go in the house and reward him when he goes outside, Leaks will get the message eventually. Sorry to babble, I just really love dogs and want this situation to work out for you and Leaks!

PS ~ I read that you live in the Centereach/S. Setauket area. Judging by the style of the houses in the background of one of the pictures, I think you live in the same neighborhood as my parents.

My mother's dog is called Liberty and we call her Libby for short. Liberty is such a cute name!
