Re: QOTD: What do you consider a fashion faux pas?

Just thought of another one.

Red shiny lipstick on really fair women.

Creeps me out.

Re: QOTD: What do you consider a fashion faux pas?

Tapered pants
Highwaters
Pants that are way too tight (not in a fashionable way)
Low rise pants with a big thong sticking up. I realize it is stylish with some, but come on. No one needs to see your underwear.
Flip flops and bare feet in the winter (I have seen this this year, and don't get it. They have to be cold). Actually, I would add flip flops at work.
Socks with sandals--come on people, leave the sandals and flip flops for the summertime.
Scuffed shoes (though I'm guilty of this too often)

Oh, I forgot to add the pj's in public. Who does this? Ever watch 'What Not to Wear' on TLC? A lot of people do it apparently.

OMG!!! you guys are hilarious!! I have to agree with the pajama thing!! Pajamas are for bed. Not to wear to school, or to basketball practice or the mall... No one needs to see your betty bloop flannels outside of the house.

It's so NOT cool!!!

Ahh... My girls basketball team gave me too much fuel for this fire!!!

Blame the flip flops on the OC and Laguna Beach. My students wear flip flops on even the cool days(55 degrees) here. Its nuts!

Re: QOTD: What do you consider a fashion faux pas?

There is a woman on my job who actually still wears stirrups and long sweaters. I want to snatch her every time I see her. Those should have never been in style even when they were.

I'm in the minority on this one maybe but I don't like stockings with open-toe shoes. Never have...never will!

I sooooo agree.. I hate that.. if you have to wear stockings you should not have sandals on..

I also do not like people who wear short shirts or low rise jeans and they have fat hangin all over...
Being prego I know when to cover up why do these people think they look good??
