Little known secret...EmerilWare is made by All-Clad... So you get the same thing (albeit prob a lower version) for a lot less.

But yes, vcleaning is a beatch!! I burned 2 pots already with rice and I have no idea how to clean the bottom part with the burnt stuff!
I do know that secret since it says All Clad on the box

Maybe we'll get that Barkeepers cleaner. where do you buy it?

I didn't know you had seen the box...

Crazy thing...the cookware comes with tips to cook on 'low heat'...it avoids burning.

BUT...I agree...

Emeril Stainless Cookware
Henckels Knives

No, my rice is always cooked on low heat...no matter, the bottom always burns.

You can't realyl fry eggs in them either. Come to think of it. I should have gotten non-stick!

I tell DH everytime I fry an egg how incredible these pans are!!! He laughs

I slide those puppies right off the pan onto the plate...and shout BAM! LOVE THOSE PANS!!!

That's odd...because the #1 complaint I found online is about the fact that eggs stick to the bottom. Interesting...

I use the non-stick pans for the eggs. Everything else is in stainless. Barkeepers friend actually took rust off my stainless range top! That stuff rocks!

I never used it on my pans though..haven't burned a pan in a while. I think subconsciously, I won't burn them because they cost so freakin much.

we have a set of non stick that we're not getting rid of. we're going to use the Emeril cookware to supplement what we already have. We'll use the SS pots for sauces to sautee, etc . non stick is for eggs and rice, etc. anything that makes a mess

sounds YUMMY!

believe it or not, I use Ultrex non stick (I ordered it from HSN) and it is FABULOUS!!! I've been using it for almost 6 yrs and it still looks new

it cleans up very easily too

wel since I already had everyday china and did not register for bedding cause I cannot find any patterns that I love, it has to be our Hankels, everyday silverware and glasses. I did not register for towels either. Wow, I missed out....
