Re: Question - Weight Loss & Weddings

Why does everyone assume you're losing weight for a wedding?

Because whoever is saying that feels insecure about their own size and if they had to wear a wedding dress they wouldn't feel comfortable and would want to loose weight. They are not being thoughtful of you, but they just don't know what it's like to actually be happy in their own body.

Re: Question - Weight Loss & Weddings

I just think people don't think before they speak. I'm personally losing weight but I started BEFORE I was engaged and I'm doing it for myself and only myself. My FH loves me no matter what. You have a healthy attitude so who cares what other people say?

I'm not losing weight for the wedding, and yet people are like 'Why are you eating that? You have a wedding soon.'

W T F???? If my FI loves me, and I love me the way I am why should I change?

Ahhh, the great weight debate.
Christine, 'they' will never be happy. This is coming from a girl who has been pleasently plump her whole life. I hear it from my parents, even people here I work with.
We can always be skinnier, have better skin etc. etc. I know I can probably lose a few pounds, just to be healthier in general.
But do I think I look good - YUP
Does my FH like me the way I am - YUP YUP YUP
Will I be the happiest, proudest most in love bride on Feb 18 - YUP YUP YUP

No one can take that away from us

Re: Question - Weight Loss & Weddings

I hit an all time low... I just got home from my little sisters party, and I took a Kit Kat out of one of the good bags! I ripped off a 9 year old to get my chocolate fix... I need help!
