Registering is a NIGHTMARE!

They can also get the card there and bring it to the event I think.

My only piece of advice is try not to let it bother you too much. You're going to have to deal with her for the rest of your life. At least that's the advice I'm trying to follow. Good luck!

Yes, they can. I received a few at my shower.

I guess I was looking at it in only a negative light. I will try to include her in some things but I feel like it might get out of hand. Give an inch...

We'll see.

RegisteringII - the Nightmare Continues

Ok, so I seemed to have picked the wrong place to register...it's obvious. Now what do I do? Can I cancel everything off of my registry at Macy's and go to Fortunoff's? My china is exclusively at Macy's and I don't know if I have the time before my shower (probably the end of this month)to make the switch (we also got some pieces of china for our engagement party - we really like the pattern). What do my relatives who live out east and in Florida do. They have computers but aren't what you would call literate at ordering things from the Internet. This bites!

Thanks everyone for all of your responses. The basket is almost done and the engagement(I'm so excited) is anyday. I'm finally getting the sister I always wanted!! Thanks Again....Gina :)

I am almost positive that you can also phone in orders with Fortunoff's. Ask one of the bridal consultants how that works with the registry. I think you will be much happier with Fortunoff and believe me so will your relatives/friends.

RegisteringII - the Nightmare Continues

If you really like the pattern at Macy's, then keep the dishes and Macy's and move everything else over to Fortunoff. I registered at 2 places - Crate & Barrel and Fortunoff and have received gifts from both places.

Fortunoff will accept phone orders (and you can phone in your additions/deletions to your registry too!). They will also fax/mail/and I think READ your registry to your guests.....

Call them and ask -
