Tips on Raising Pledge Dollars

Most of the money raised by participants in the Race for the Cure is raised by pledging. Your participation in this year’s Race for the Cure Pledge Program will bring much-needed funds to the fight against breast cancer.

Beginners are always surprised at their success at collecting pledges. It may seem overwhelming at first but in reality it is easy! Remember you are not collecting pledges for yourself. You are collecting pledges to support the fight against breast cancer. And every dollar counts!

Tips:

Start collecting pledges early!
Set goals and make them known. Get the word out that you are raising money and training for the run/walk!
Research your company’s matching gift program – and double your money!
Be knowledgeable about the cause – see where the money goes
Remember to say THANK YOU! with a smile. Send out a thank you to each individual thanking them for helping you reach your goal. Let them know they are making a difference.
Let people know how much you have raised and what your goal is!
Pledge Incentives:

The money goes towards a good cause. Read about our Grants and Outreach programs.

My hubby made the first donation to our team last night...GO TEAM

I am proud of each and everyone that has signed up including the ladies that I don't know yet. I will be proud to walk along side you all in memory of your loved ones.

To all the ladies that have sent me FM that will be sending in donations, I thank you in advance. If there is someone that you would like me to add to my in memory of BIB or my bib for those who are still in the race and is fighting cancer, don't forget to send me their names.
