our florist is giving us the petals as part of thepackage and i am making outs. i just need to assemble the cones and i think that i will have the florist fill them. i still have to ask.

I made the cones, and used silk petals, so that i didn't aahve to do them that morning, and my hall also wouldn't allow real ones.

make your rehearsal dinner a rose petal stuffing party & tehn put in them in the fridge

seriously though, guys don't take any time to get ready. Are there any that will be hanging around, like spouses/dates of bridesmaids?
They can manage if you make the cones ahead of time.

did you use a runner ?b did you use the rose petals? how did that work out..how long was your ceremony?

I did use rose petal cones but ended up having pedestals do them after all for conviencence reasons - no runner - my church does not permit them. The ceremony was a full hour

I am going to Costco the day before the wedding with 2 of the BMs to buy roses. We will 'deflower' them to get the petals.

My FMIL crocheted beautiful cones. She started 6 months ago. She's REALLY good at crocheting, otherwise she'd have started sooner than that.

We are putting the petals into the cones the day before and then storing them in the fridge.
