Re: RSVP Vent
I totally understand how you feel. My grandparents are not coming either but did not even send back the RSVP card just told my mom. Same thing as you too: no cards for anything. I know it hurts a lot but I try to remember how the people who are the closest to me will be there.

Re: RSVP Vent
I am so sorry. I completely understand and would be heart broken if my grandmother didn't come to my wedding. What if you called her and asked if there was something you could do to help her get here for that day? Let her know how much it means to you.

Re: RSVP Vent
I know how you feel -- my grandfather, for health reasons, can't make the trip out to LI from Brooklyn and BECAUSE HE DOESN'T WANT TO BE LEFT AT HOME, my grandMOTHER is not coming either!!! This makes me so mad. He's not willing to discuss having an aide come to be with him so my grandmother can see me get married. I would only want her there for the ceremony part.Your grandma may have just checked the box because it might be hard emotionally for her to articulate any further not being there. It might be bothering her as much as you. Have you had a conversation with your parents? Could they help fill in the blanks that her card has left?
