Re: second guessing hall choices?? PLEASE HELP!
if one of them is in your price range, and u have a good feeling about it, when u go, then I say do it...I had the same problem, not one hall had everything I wanted, so I went with Crest Hollow, since it had 98% of what I wanted....
trust urself....

We booked at Chateau La Mer, it's beautiful, reasonable, delicious and the people are great! Definetly worth looking at!

p.s. I was paying same at both halls,,,I don't get Centerpieces at watermill, but I don't feel the ones SMCC give are of value anyway. (Not to be harsh) They give $7 credit if you don't use and the flowers are about worth that.
aren't they pitiful? (no offense
)We went with SMCC and we were thrilled with everything - it was more us then more traditional catering facilities and we enjoyed being the only party.
We booked the Meadow Club first (talking about second guessing) and there prices were great, the menu extensive and the food we tasted at a bridal show was yummy.
We switched because I kept having that lingering feeling about SMCC and it was also much much closer to where we and a lot of our guests live.
ETA:
George Washington Manor may be able to accomodate you - they are owned by the Milleridge Inn people (I think) and have great food & service.
The Watermill is beautiful and their food is pretty good (I was there for a function, not a wedding).

We had our reception at The Meadow Club and I have nothing but great things to say about them. We knew it was the place for us as soon as we walked in. The price was amazing, the service was incredible, and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend them.
