I'm having a Friday evening wedding and I was initially worried about people not attending too. I realized that if these people love us enough then they will leave work early and attend. Don't worry about it. Everything will work out great!

She has NEVER heard of that... PLEASE!! I had a friday night and people came. They love you and will come. Most people came to the church also.

Wow, wonder what she'd say to my THURSDAY night wedding. We fell in love with The Royalton but couldn't afford it. Decided to have it Thursday before July 4th weekend hoping that people will take off on Friday and have a long weekend for the holiday.

My parent's friends are complaining about it -- 'I've never heard of a Thursday night wedding.' I'm trying to not take it too seriously, the people most important to us will be there.

Im having a Friday wedding as well and I didnt even send out my STDs yet and ALREADY had someone make a comment about it...I said, if you cant make it I understand...screw them!

The people who really want to be there for your special day will be. We are getting married the Wed before Thanksgiving - from the comment of one of our guests I was expecting them to say no and they were one of my first yes's.

DONT WORRY ABOUT IT HECK MINE IS ON A FRI AND YOU KNOW IT WAS ONLY ONE GUEST AND REMEMBER ITS YOUR DAY.

I also say don't worrry. The place I found was the cheapest, if I didn't find it, I probably would be having a Friday wedding too.
