Re: should i display divorced parents's pic at wedding????

My parents are divorced too, I didn't do the wedding picture thing because

1. I felt it was inappropriate
2. I didn't want to make anyone feel awkward (i.e. my stepmother, my mother's BF)

Re: should i display divorced parents's pic at wedding????

It is tricky. I felt the same way with the wedding video when I had all the grandparents wedding photos of both sides and then having the video graduate to our parents. My parents were the only ones divorced.
Mom is remarried
Father single.

I didn't do it but it made me sad.

Instead believe it or not - I had my BIRTH parents walk down the isle together and I came out afterwards. I had them wait for me at the end before I met my DH and I kissed them both.

After all if it were not for them I would not be here and that was my point. It was not about them that day and everyone was teary eyed cause 'they got it'.

Ofcourse I ran it by all parties involved bfr hand and they respected my wish.
IT IS ONE DAY FOR YOUR WISHES TO BE GRANTED!!! Tell them why you wish to do it this way and what it means to you.
EVERYONE NEEDS TO GET OVER IT.
Good luck what ever you decide & don't worry about making it all about your mom that day due to your decision. It will never be all about MOM that day don't let anyone tell you different.
It is your wedding

oh Btw..had to share what I was talking about
