Not sure about the list but there were 57 there (myself included). Personally, I think that the best way to cut the list is to think that you should not say the words 'Nice to meet you' at your own shower. Unfortunately some of those who did my list did not feel the same way

I have 68 on my list... but 8 or so are out of state or most likely will not be able to come.

My list had about 115 .......- My mom want4ed to know everyone !!
I think they cut it down to 85 -

We have like 40, and we have about 220 guests at the wedding...

Edited to say, that most of my family is from Europe, so they won't be able to come to the shower...
