Have seen this before, but not crazy about 'Through the Years' and some of the others I've seen suggested, so I'm hoping for more ideas. Thanks

I hear you, but I'm stuck on that because it's so fitting.

So true, that's the problem. I feel like Kenny Rogers is so corny, but it is definitely the most appropriate.

It's funny, we were at the appt. with the DJ the week before the wedding and hadn't picked the song. So I asked him to play 'Through the Years' for DH because DH said he wasn't sure if he knew it. The Dj played about 4 notes when DH yelled, 'No!!' The DJ and I started laughing and the DJ suggested Van Morrison. (no offense to any one using KR) The Van Morrison song was very fitting - the words seemed to fit for people who had been married a while.

My sentiments exactly. I don't begrudge anyone their right to use the song, in fact I think it might even be the song that my dad and his new wife have as their song, which would be yet another reason why I couldnt' use it. mY mom would have a cow!

We used 'From this Moment' by Shania Twain.

I used the same song annie....I wanted to use for my wedding song cuz I love it but DH hates it so he compromised and suggested it for the anniversary dance...and it worked out well.
