The funny thing is that when my FIL asked me about the name on the guest list I swear I thought he was going to tell me that DH and I were related! I must have turned white as a ghost before he finished his story!

totally - my FH's daughter was in the same kindergarten as my neice, and in my neice's bday party pic, I am standing next to the cake with my FH's daughter right near me - before we all met!!!

Fate is my guiding principle in life. So much in my life has NOT gone according to plan --my plan at least. I have to believe it's part of alarger plan and that everything happens for a reason

i totally belive in fate! my fiance and i met in high school ( he was 3 years younger) When I was a senior I would alwyas tell him to come and find me when he grew up. needless to say 8 years after I graduated high school I saw him in a random place! The 'fate' part was that for those 8 years I lived all over the place (including living away at college) and i never ever thought I would speak to anyone except my best friends from high school again....

Absolutely. FH & I had our first ever date on his parent's wedding anniversary. His father isn't with us anymore, but his mom says all the time we were meant to be, and FH always says his father sent me to him.

totally believe in fate....i believe it brought FH and i together. sooooo many things could have turned out differently the nite we met. i was just visiting my family here in NY--heading to the club with my bro, sis, and friends while i was vacationing--and he invited my FH (who worked at the time with him) to come out with us that nite. ironically enough, my bro had NEVER done that before. my FH came out by himself, even though he had swore he wouldn't cause he was feeling depressed over not having a date on valentine's day (we met on feb. 15th), and the introduction was made--and the rest is history.

however i'd like to say that fate only takes you so far, the rest is up to you. yes fate brought him and i together, but we had to work at it to figure out what that meant. i'm sooo happy we did!

my FI was my teacher at the ambulance squad I ride at... (he is since divorced but was married then)...

who would have known that years later I would run into him and now be marrying him......
