oooo! and what about:

I'm going to the grocery store.

I need a loaf of bread, a stick of butter, and a container of milk.

A loaf of bread, a stick of butter...and...uh oh!!!

I loved that one too!! I was always afraid the kid would get in trouble by the mom for forgetting things. And wasn't the street filled with scary houses?

I tried that once w/ FH, but he didn't get it. He was a 'cartoon' child, not a sesame st. child.

I, on the other hand, wasn't allowed to watch cartoons.

I remember that one. The skit was actually filmed in my neighborhood. Does anybody remember, 'Me and my llama going to the dentist.' It was a song skit of this little girl and her llama going to the dentist and walking the streets of Manhattan. It made perfect sense to me at the time.

OMG - the llama song!!

Me and my llama
Jumped out of our pajamas
And ran off to the dentist today
Me and my llama
Me and my llama
We're goin 'to the dentist ooo-eee
Yes, it's just my llama and me

I loved that!!!

I also loved the piano player guy who would slam his head on the piano when he got the notes wrong 'I'll never get it - NEVER'!!

Did you know they cut that out after one season because little kids were imitating it and hurting themselves??

My dad used to sing the working dog song whenever we were doing chores:

'I'm a dog, I'm a dog, I'm a working dog,
I'm a haaaard working dog!!'
