'our song' is i don't know much (but i know i love you) by aaron neville and linda ronstadt....it became our song one day while we prescreened a video for our daughter and realized that aaron neville did the singing for the video....so FH downloaded several aaron neville songs because once we confirmed it was him on the video, neither of us could think of a single one. we liked the words and it just kind of fit. he was in law school at the time and he often jokes that he could find you a good lawyer (and not himself.lol)...so the idea of the title being 'i don't know much' was tantalizing for us. when we got engaged, we just knew that would be the song we danced to first.

she's got a way by billy joel... it was the first song fh and i slow danced to, and we are both billy joel fans, so it fit

FH picked it today. 'Let it be me' by Julio Iglesias. He is a big Julio Iglesias fan. He sang the lyrics today while we were driving. I liked it, it is different and beautiful.

After our 1 year anniversary, My FH started singing 'Everytime I Close My Eyes' by Baby Face...

It fits us perfectly....

Our song is also 'by your side' by Sade. I think the words are so simple and have so much meaning about what it means to be married.

At Last by Etta James is a short, simple song of how we feel about finding each other. We are in our mid-30's, and until we met, both felt like we would never find the 'one'. The song says 'At last, my love has come along' and it couldn't be more right!

Exact same thing with us. We're older too (older than you guys!!!) Even though it seems to be used a lot, it is the perfect song for us.
