We're big Bob Marley fans too, so we opted to get a calypso band for the CH. Just an idea!

My original idea was to have a Steel drum for CH...but we went with a jazz trio instead.

I would probably want some old Sabbath.. (but the FW says I can have Ozzy's 'Crazy Train' ).. so that works for me![]()
We're having 'Crazy Train Techno Remix' for our introduction song!
You can work some songs in like that!

Like a lot of you, we'll have some of the 'un-dance-able' songs during dinner, but there's one song I would love to hear and it's just not going to happen. 'You're all I need' by Method Man and Mary J. Blige is one of our old school songs from when we were first dating. If we had a DJ it would be fine, but I just can't see my band pulling that one off. lol!
OMG I LOVE that song!!!! Yeah, I doubt your band could do it justice!
I'd love some dave matthews (I actually want one of their songs as our song - but FH has already knocked it down), but I doubt we'll be able to!!!!!!!!!!!

ooh good song Enjoy the Silence. Have it anyway - maybe the dj has a remix that speeds it up a bit.

i had a wolfetones song called streets of new york played at my cocktail hour. i did have a few new wave songs like love song by the cure its my life by talk talk and just cant get enough by depeche mode. i also had angry chair on my list but my d.j forgot it yeah right lol. oh and the ramones were played

We're going do Ozzy, the Stones, Dave Matthesw, Johnny Cash... and probably some of the classic 50's stuff.. (like the Beach Boys.. definitely for the older folks) during dinner. During the recpetion it's all dance.. and gulp.. i have to be shaking my booty.... LOL
