Those pics are beautiful! I just called my mom to see how she was doing in the storm...I grew up in Maine and moved here after college. Where are you guys in Maine?

Those pics are beautiful! I just called my mom to see how she was doing in the storm...I grew up in Maine and moved here after college. Where are you guys in Maine?

I'm from Eliot. It's a small town near York & Kittery (very southern Maine!)...I went to Marshwood High School. I miss the lifestyle...I usually hung out in Portsmouth, NH or sometimes I would go to Portland. My family still lives there so I travel to Maine quite a bit.

How far are you from Portland?

We're an hour and 15 minutes NW of Portland...rt. 302 all the way!
I grew up in Portland, lived there until about 3 years ago.

DUHH! I don't know where my head is at, but yes...we've had this conversation before!!! I checked my FM and it was last May!! I think being PG has turned my brain cells to mush!!!

Have fun in the blizzard! If we had that snow here, NY would shut down

Maine always seems to have that part under control!

I do love the snow (from inside a warm place) .. but I do HATE the mess and inconvenience it creates.

how is it there today Donna??? I know when I spoke to my SIL last night, it was still snowing pretty heavy & the lights were flickering!

At least the schools are closed, so doesn't have to venture out!

We got SO MUCH SNOW!

Jonn is outside taking pics so I'll post them in a bit.
Our lights were flickering all night but luckily we never lost power. That would have really sucked since our heater runs on electricity.

Donna, it looks so pretty right now...I haven't spoken to my SIL yet today...They have their water & heat run by electric...If she lost power, she probably went to a neighbors who had a generator...

I just heard there's 27,000 homes statewide without power right now. 10,000 of them are in our surrounding towns! And we still have our power!!!

My DH even saw a thunderstorm last night! How crazy is that?!
